REGISTER

Eligibility:

- Administrative Contact must be a Hungarian business entity. Local presence for Administrative Contact is offered.

- Only Legal Entity name should be submitted in the Admin-C, Tech-C fields. Important to note - Registry does not accept application forms with private person data for these contacts.

- Nameservers must be configured properly before order submittal. Should an order be received where the Nameservers are not configured properly, the NIC will automatically process the order by substituting with their own nameservers. In order to change the substituted nameservers.

- Nameservers check is mandatory: > https://info.domain.hu/webregcheck/en

Individuals Owners

Not supported.

Business Owners

The following legal entities from outside Hungary can apply for a .hu domain name
- any legal entity
  - i) established by virtue of law,
  - ii) entered in the Register of or registered with an authority or court, or
  - iii) filing its respective application with the competent authority or court and commencing its operations pursuant and according to the law prior to such entry or registration,

in the territory of the European Union, of the Council of Europe, an EEA or EFTA country or a neighbouring country of Hungary. The list of countries from which a .hu domain can be registered can be found here.

Trademark Owners

Furthermore, the beneficiary of a trademark either registered with the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office or protected otherwise that is also applicable in Hungary.

.HU Domain Names Registration Form WITHOUT Local Presence services
- This has to be filled out on screen, printed on company letterhead or stamped and signed (every page) by the new Registrant's legal representative. A scanned copy of this document must be provided.
- Important to note - embedded graphics of a signature is not allowed
- This form is only required for domains NOT using BA Local Presence offer. For domains using BA Local Presence, see the section below.

The following documents are also required in all cases (including domains using BA Local Presence):

If the Registrant is a Business Entity:
A copy of the Registrant´s Business registration certificate.
This must be issued by the relevant Registry Authorities of the country where the Registrant is incorporated.

Printed on company letterhead or stamped, filled out and signed by the Registrant´s legal representative. A scanned copy of this document must be provided.

For both forms:

select "Modification" option
Reason of modification: must be filled with Reason for Modification
The application form should be signed by the authorized signatory of the Registrant. The name of the signatory must be written also in a readable form, the date of the signature should be included. The optional use of their company stamp next to the signature is preferred.

Importat to note:

Transfers orders must be processed with the same registrant data as listed on the whois
Current whois data can be checked here - > https://www.domain.hu/domain-search/
Should the order be started with a different registrant data other than what is listed on the whois, the order will be cancelled.

- This has to be filled out on screen, printed and signed by the current registrant, and a scanned copy of this document must be provided.

This has to be filled out on screen, printed on company letterhead or stamped and signed (every page) by the new Registrant's legal representative. A scanned copy of this document must be uploaded to the order on the partner portal.
