REQUIREMENTS
Anyone worldwide can register .es domains. Local Presence is not required in Spain.
TRANSFER
As of November 21, 2024, the .ES registry introduced expiring auth codes. It will be valid for 10 days by requesting a new authorization code.
The Administrative Contact will receive an e-mail from NIC.ES containing two links, one to approve and one to deny the transfer request. The approval process can no longer be handled via the NIC.ES web interface.REGISTRANT UPDATE
1) The Holder or the Administrative Contact Person must access the Dominios.es control panel (https://www.nic.es/sgnd/login.action) using their ID and password, and select the option “Domain Transfer Request”.
2) Add the domain name(s) to transfer and the new registrant and admin-c handle:
- New registrant: XXXXXXXX-ESNIC-F5
- New ACP: YYYYYYY-ESNIC-F5
3) Continue and confirm the transfer procedure.
4) The new registrant receives an email from Nic.es with which to confirm the transfer in his name.
