- To be eligible to register a .co.jp domain name, applicant must be a company registered under Japanese commercial law.
- Important to note: A company is allowed to register only one (1) .co.jp domain name unless it meets the very special conditions specified by the registry.
Documenation Required
- A company document called either "Genzaijiko Zenbushoumeisho" or "Rirekijko Zenbushoumeisho" in Japanese is required. Documents issued within the last twelve months may be accepted as long as the information is up-to-date.
- Text file containing following information in Japanese, Kanji and Kana & Latin characters. Please note, information on the text file must match info on BRC:
- President/CEO name
- Company name
