.MY - Malaysia

    REQUIREMENTS
    In order to register a .MY domain, the Malaysian authority require that both Registrant (a business entity) and Administrative Contact must have local presence.
    Administrative Contact must be an employee of the Registrant organization.

    Document(s) Required
    One of these documents is needed:

    - Company pursuant to Companies Act 2016 (Akta Syarikat 2016)
    Certification (Perakuan Pendaftaran) by Registrar of Companies (Pendaftar Syarikat) i.e.
    • Borang 8 (Perakuan Perbadanan Syarikat Awam)
    • Borang 9 (Perakuan Pemerbadanan Syarikat Sendirian)
    • Borang 13 (Perakuan Pemerbadanan Atas Pertukaran Nama Syarikat)
    • Borang 19 (Perakuan Pemerbadanan Atas Pertukaran Menjadi Syarikat Persendirian)
    • Borang 83 (Certificate of Registration of A Foreign Company)
    • Borang 83A (Certificate of Registration of Change of Name of A Foreign Company)

    - Business pursuant to Business Registration Act 1956 (Akta Pendaftaran Perniagaan 1956)
    Certification (Perakuan Pendaftaran) by Registrar of Business (Pendaftar Perniagaan) i.e.
    • Borang D
    - Society pursuant to Societies Act 1966 (Akta Pertubuhan 1966)
    Certification (Perakuan Pendaftaran) by Registrar of Societies (Pendaftar Persatuan) i.e.
    • Borang 3 Peraturan 5 Peraturan 7(1) (Kebenaran Menukar Nama)
    • Peraturan 7(4) (Sijil Kebenaran untuk penubuhan cawangan)
    All these are issued by the local Company Registry in Malaysia and must be in local language (Malay language version - translation is not accepted).
    Please note: If the Registrant is utilizing BA's Local Presence, the above documentation is not required.

    TRANSFER
    Criteria:
    • A transfer order must reach BA at least 2 weeks prior to expiry date.
    • The total registration period must not exceed 5 years else the request shall be declined.
    • WHOIS will not reflect any changes to Billing contact. This is a policy of the registry.
    If possible send the Administrative Contact UserID and password (issued by MYNIC).
    If not possible, the current admin-c of domain name must to update the Invoicing Party to:
