Even though the registry does not require anything special for registering Latvian domains, they might find some names threatening to Latvian companies and trademark owners. The registry will, at any time, reject or request further documentation.
If the registrant is an organization, the company registration number must be provided.
TRANSFER
The transfer is started with an authorization code, provided from current registrar.
Note: the registry will not permit a Transfer of Registrar in the same month the domain is due to expire e.g. if the Expiry Date for a .lv domain is 15 January, then the earliest a Transfer can be initiated is beginning of February (i.e. once the current registrar has paid previous month's invoice).
